Dr. John Y. Jacobs, O.D
Optometrist
Dr. John Jacobs is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. There he received the McCracken Scholarship for outstanding performance as a student. Dr. Jacobs completed his clinical externships at various Veterans’ Administration medical centers within the United States.
Dr. Jacobs is a therapeutic optometrist trained in the treatment and management of eye diseases, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and the preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of patients. Dr. Jacobs has volunteered his time to the Special Olympics and to various pediatric vision screenings throughout the county.
Dr. Jacobs loves the interaction he shares with his patients on a daily basis. He treats every patient as his own family.
